Raining for days here, and still raining. :!:

I can work outside in the snow and cold, but in the rain, not so much. Been doing some stuff on the lathe that needed done, not much else. Waiting for the rain to stop in a few days. :|

Rain, so they say, for us all week. Maybe no Fiona wood done this week. But will see. Not raining yet today. But I planed things to do if raining. Of course not raining. But I bet that if I travel the 15 minutes to get to the Fiona wood to start cutting, it would be raining there by then. That’s my type of luck. :pullhair: :35: :giggle: :O :106: :109:

We had a cold, wet, cruddy weekend, not much got done outside. This morning it's snowing and raining. At least it's melting on contact but at times it's really coming down :45: :124: :barf: :112:
:446cart: let's go, it's finally time to blow. :peace:

Rain over the weekend and the weather man called for rain on and off today. It never rained a drop but it was windy and cold. Spent the day in the shop fabricating an exhaust system for the 646. :peace: Harry

Snuck outside this morning and cut the grass in between rain showers...

It was 5°C (or 41°F) - Can't remember the last time I wore a toque and winter coat while using the mower though... (I probably could have left it for a few more days, but some of the weeds are determined overachievers and the tall clumps were really starting to stand out...)

I’ve got a flood meeting tomorrow but I think we’ll get away with just some minor flooding, at least for this round. We’re definitely in better shape than some places in Iowa

Well after going over the data from the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the National Weather Service looks like this will be a thankfully minor week of high water here on the Mississippi with no real impact. I’m very happy not to be building a levee or filling sand bags! Kinda funny the river is high but we’re so dry here the grass is starting to go brown!
Looks like late July around here instead of early May. Long rage forecast shows we may be in for a drought. We’re supposed to have rain moving in over the weekend, I have to remember to put my rain gauge out and see how much we get!
