Happy Labour day

Post by DavidBarkey »

Too all those who get the day off . Have a great day .
Mine will be spent working on my truck . My son (the bodyman ) is coming out to help me replace the front rad/fender supports and fix up a few other little things before having it rust proofed for the winter .

Have a good day gentlemen. I’m having a little seat time today on my MF 12 tractor with winch operated loader. Pile of dirt has been there for maybe a month now. So, today is the day to get rid of it. Want to get at the wood soon.

I cleaned my HVAC condensing coil in the air handler up in my attic today and because that wasn't enough punishment, I cleaned the coil in the outdoor unit. I spent the better part of the day doing it. The units I have just are not easily serviceable. I probably should have just mowed the lawn. We are getting inches of rain right now.

Happy Labor Day to all. We didn't have any big plans, but generations older than us and younger than us both came over for an impromptu cookout.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips, baked beans, corn on the cob. Good food, great times with family.

I ended the evening rolling around on the floor, rough housing (carefully) with 2 of my grandkids.

It doesn't get any better than this!

I'm off to bed happy and grateful.

It rained here most of the day. So, I spent the day in the shop mostly cleaning up. Made a couple flag stands for my wife out of SS for the front of the house. She likes to hang flags for the different seasons. My brother-in-law gave me a cigar a few weeks ago so I sat and enjoyed that while looking at the 226 sitting on my lift. A good day in my book!

Keep the Peace :cop: :peace:
