I noticed when I did this the other day my blades we’re worn out. New one came in. Back up on the air it goes!
I see your using your 648 again on another project!
Keep the Peace
Harry
Yes sir!

Spending a little quality time with the ladies.
My Ingersoll is disassembled, my son's 442 needs new deck spindle bearings.
Doesn't this man own a lawnmower????

@thebuildist that grass is trembling in fear already, at the thought of your tractor getting back in shape!
This may not apply to you, but from messages I have seen on Facebook groups, people in North America are very stressed when their lawn is not trimmed nicely. Because I grew up in a different culture, where the tradition is to have a flower garden instead of the front lawn, and a veggie garden in the backyard, it doesn't stress me that much seeing the grass high. I'm lucky my neighbours don't complain, as they have a beautiful lawn, everything is nicely and timely trimmed.
So, Bob, if it helps you, there are many parts of the world where people don't mow their lawns

Fixing your back is a lot more expensive and painful than fixing a tractor, I'm with you on this Jeff!

My wife took a picture of son learning to drive the 648. He did great. He says he likes it!

Dream of any boy to play with a real digger. My boys can't wait until they're allowed to handle the tractors. Would've really liked a smaller backhoe like you have, in part to give them this opportunity; and maybe one day I'll find one.

Jake has been driving the mower for a couple years now (with blocks on the peddles ). But when I got hurt last summer and was riding the pine for a few months . Jake got a crash coarse in driving Frankie .

Fortunately with out any crashes .
![Phew! :phew:](./images/smilies/yahoo/18.gif)
He had to learn not only drive the tractor with a load out front , but also how to pick up a load with the forks on . Thank goodness he did pretty good for a 13 year old
![Thumbs up!](./images/smilies/yahoo/113.gif)
. He gets a big kick out of it when he gets to drive it .

A pleasure to swing the trusty old scythe through the tall rye grass!
To be fair, the Austrian blade is only 4 years old.

When I was an early teenager . My grandpa taught me not only how to use one but how to keep it sharp .

I don’t know how big of an area your doing, but I think you have more energy than I have! I would have to pull your sickle mower through it!
