I agree with you David a two stage is the way to go to get more distance. I have looked for a good deal on one but have not found exactly what I’ve been looking for. Most Berco’s that I’ve seen are to narrow so I’ll keep looking. :peace: Harry

Well just for fun, I’ll say, that my ford snow thrower throws farther than my ford snow blower will.
But, I have a different chute on the snow thrower, not original, like the one on the snow blower. But I still think it might throw farther with an original chute on the thrower.

I don’t really get why the Berco blowers throw so good. ? I don’t see much difference in Berco blowers as compared to other makes.

I kinda think I was on this topic before. :40:

Lots of snow Spike. Works good. I was out doing a little snow throwing with the John Deere about a 1/2 hour before you. Some cold here.

My Berco's 44". Its wide enough. I believe you can get wings for it like our snowcasters. My SB48 snowcaster with wings tends to steer the tractor when I'm only blowing on one side of the blower. The berco not being as wide doesn't seem to do this. Another option you case guys have are the MTD style tractor snowblowers. Us 4 digit tractor guys have the wrong belt rotation for the MTD style snowblowers.

Case tractor with MTD style blower and vanguard engine. Check out that lift mechanism. I can dig to more on my computer to see if I have more pics if anyone wants...

Snowcasters in action... Not sure mine throws this good.

Its an Ariens with what looks like a snowcaster... I've seen them on older Kubotas too. I believe Case supplied snowcasters to Kubota at one point... Also Yanmar had diesel tractors that used the Case decks.

Not sure about Kubota, but Case did supply attachments to Yanmar and Ariens.

I’ve seen a Case snowthrower on a Kubota garden tractor. Saw a video on that a while ago.

But I don’t think Case made the snowthrower. Aftermarket attachment maker, maybe like Hann or others, Im guessing.

I'm not sure exactly which Kubota models used the snowcaster but there are some pictures in this google search https://www.google.com/search?q=kubota+ ... ws-wiz-img

Did Yanmar use snowcasters or just mowing decks?

We finally got some snow, about a foot. Other than a couple of trips to the woods with the 4118 it's the first snow work since before Christmas. :106:
