Same weather here Noel. It was 55F, cloudy and windy when I mowed yesterday. As soon as I started mowing the weather got misty. 34F one night this week and no rain for weeks previously. Wierd weather this year.

Would take a little of that cool and rain here. They say we're going to cool off a little starting today (mid 80's today then 70's)but very low chance of rain till late in the week.
Most of the yard is brown, a little greener under the trees. It looks pretty rough but I don't want to mow it until it rains. I got a 10 minute tractor time fix cutting at the base of the hill by the road yesterday. Moisture comes out of the hill and the grass was green and thick, had to creep along.
:446cart: let's go, it's finally time to blow. :peace:

We’re in the same situation down here Tim. It’s very dry and hot. Yard is turning brown. I’ve mowed once the last 14 days usually I mow every 5 days this time of year. Last I checked it’s hot and dry for at least another week.

@propane1 here's how you can save the wood for the winter. You get a couple of sheep and next year you skin them make yourself a coat like this. Those shepherds walk in snow, rain, and cold for days through mountain passes in that kind of coat. You will be sweating at 11C with no fire. :D
