I agree, There was a one complete set of HHS bits up to 1and over one inch. Total of probably 100 or more bits in all.
Gave two hundred (US) for all of it. Was a good deal for me and it is in good shape for its age. Bet it weighed 250-300 pounds with base plate.
One of the ony thing I like as well as Colt Case Ingersoll garden tractors is quality antique tools and tooling.

Last year I bought a nice lathe (Older)

What kind of lathe?

I have a 1941 South Bend Heavy 10 that I just love. I started with a 6" Atlas and traded up for a 12" Craftsman "Commercial" (made by Atlas) and then traded that up to the Heavy 10. The South Bend's swing is 2 inches smaller than the Craftsman, and its bed is a foot shorter. But it's twice the machine that the Craftsman was.

This is only picture I could find before I installed it in shop. I bought a phase converter and changed it from 3 phase to 115. I will get you some pictures of conversion box.

Started getting it installed and health started downhill. Hopefully In few months will get it all installed and running. Lathe a there and works great, just needs TLC and a good clean up.
