My buddy and his and me and my son , we stood up ,levelled and bolted down the hoist towers today . This week I will work on hoses , electrical, and arms .
All the safeties have to gone over and set up for a lower than stock ceiling height .

Dave, years ago I worked in a factory, we had many large lathes and milling machines. This type of switches were always used to limit movement of parts. They are not expensive but impossible to find locally.

Dave, does this lift not have the overhead beam with the shut off bar on it?

No , it was designed for a high ceiling . I am adapting it to suit my needs . But a shut off bar is a good idea instead of mast switch .

Ya , anything like the one you showed as long as it will break one side of the 230v single phase to stop the motor when the top of the mast get to the ceiling in case I am off in lala land and not paying attention . I don't want to have to fix the ceiling .
