If you do any kind of renovation, an oscillating tool is one of the most helpful things you could imagine. You can obviously cut all kinds of things with them, but they really, truly shine doing things like plunge cuts in wood that you can't do any other way. I lived for ages without one until the patents ran out and they got cheaper, but man was I happy when they became widespread.

Thanks guys! Been building "my" new cab now in my basement for a while. Part of my design is 80/20 aluminum frames with 1/4" plexiglass windows top and bottom for max vis. Also front , below windshield, and rear window too. I obviously bought the plexiglass in bulk and this posting came at an opportune time. See what happens when we talk as enthusiasts? Even our thoughts can help others!
