Re: Should have stuck with a penny.
Oops my mistake, I was going to put a penny on the track but went with a looney (Canadian 1 dollar coin) instead. 20230722_082959.jpg This is our living room window veiw. I won't get much done today. Distracted by big toys and front row seat. Whoa, someone is in trouble! Hopefully nobody is hurt. W...

Re: Case trailer $175
They also offered a "Conestoga Wagon Kit" for later versions of the 1000lb dump cart. I wonder if Case ever sold any of those kits?

That's awesome! Love it when it's an easy fix. Gotta love the simplicity of the old machines compared to what we have today. That Sherman setup sounds crazy, I'd be careful when shifting too lol.

Re: Fixing up Grandpa... aka Case 195
Nice fix Gerry! I need to address the various places with play on the K45 deck on my 444. Different mounting style but I'll apply your washer trick for some spots. Looking forward to more pics of your adventures on your new plot of land. I agree with Eugen, like the look of the Case backhoe. You'll ...

Re: Newest addition to the fleet...
Thanks guys! @Eugen I'm sure you could, it's all made from dimensional lumber and held together with lag bolts. And funny you mentioned that - my oldest daughter wants one just like his now! lol. @Spike188 yes it's a quilt hand sewn by my mom. Tonka toys pattern print on one side and all of the vari...

Newest addition to the fleet...
It isn't a Case...and you can't drive it...but my little guy will hopefully get a good night's sleep in it! I've been working on this bed for a while in the evenings when my 3 little ones are asleep. My youngest (almost 2 1/2) is of course obsessed with tractors, trucks and all/any other heavy equip...

Re: Summertime favorite garden dish.
20230711_092612.jpg Eugen The recipe on the right is my favorite dough, using all purpose flour. Typically for the 2 of us, 1/2 of the dough gets frozen for later use. The sauce and topping part is a guidline only. As far as spices go, adding a bit of fennel and adjusting the amo...
