Can't even haul it away for that price! As heavy as that thing is, it is worth some money for scrap!! Save the tines!

Re: Ethanol or non-ethanol gas
I usually use regular Ethanol with seafoam tossed in. After I got past the soft rubber in my 63 Studebaker Avanti's fuel line rubber hoses, I haven't looked back. The gas cap even calls for premium fuel only. It is the Studebaker 289 with Factory Supercharger for an engine. Probably perform better w...

Re: Studebaker pulled out of storage.
An old vehicle deserves new life, if possible. Look at our tractors. If we sold them for what we have in them, oftentimes they would never sell. Particularly, if we counted the labor!

Re: 60" Mowing deck
Definitely a J48 deck. That makes it the first model of 60" for the 448, and was also used with the 446's with the longer frames. They are easy to tell apart because of the framing on the front side of the deck. This was the first. The newer 60" decks for LH throw do not have the bracing o...

Re: First post in this section..
Thanks for posting your thoughts. Last spring I bought the last complete set of tiller tines for our CIC tillers. So far none of our dealers seems to have come up with a replacement or substitute for our tiller tines. Here is an example of what you are speaking of. I have tilled maybe 45-50 "Pa...
