Re: How many years you got with Case tractors?!
Some of you guys have some interesting stories. Mine came about in 2006ish? I just had moved into my future wife and I first house. I had a Murry rider, and my neighbor had a case 448. Snow season was around the corner and he ended up snow blowing my place faster than I could basically make one dece...

Re: The weather
I'll second ya Harry. My belt on my caster is tight and hard to get on and once it's on you can see the spring doing its job. It does sound like your belt is longer. I messed up putting my caster on this winter. I routed the belt outside of the mule drive and it tore up the belt in seconds. Glad I h...

So safe to say the only similarities as far as parts interchange to the 3000/4000 machines are the seat, battery and fuel tank cap?

Re: HP40/HP41 + case drain hose routing with backhoe transaxle
Another thing to do is check your front seat support panel that holds your range shift lever. Maybe offset the panel a hair more to the left side like 1/8" and then correct it again on the pto cover panel. Wanting to keep neutral set properly and shifting good. Could be enough to get you shifti...

Re: HP40/HP41 + case drain hose routing with backhoe transaxle
I have an extra rear axle non webbed. We can trade if it helps. Lol.. My tractor I routed the case drain on the rh frame rail. That way I had room for my 2 pto hoses. There is not much room in the area with the shift lever.

Re: Load battery tester
I had one similar to yours Harry. A little longer in length. The more time I spent around batteries I found that a hydrometer will give you a better idea of battery condition. Of course sealed batteries you can't get to the acid. I picked up an electronic battery tester years ago and is a great tool...

Re: John Deere weights, $300, Horton MI
I have a response.he was not selling all the weight for $300. He wants $200 for a pair of outers. If I were to buy 4 outers, he would give me 8 inners, all for $500. Humm, I really do want more combine weights. My 6018lbh with the 15x10 wheels already has the combine outers. My 6018l with the 15x8 w...

Re: John Deere weights, $300, Horton MI
Wow. Definitely a deal. I just messaged the person. It's about a 2.5hr drive south for me but way worth the drive. I could definitely use them. He said he's had the listing up for a bit and has sold off the t weights. Had wheel weight left. We have messaged Back and forth and left me hanging. Told h...

Re: The hard life of a barn cat
I have what you call a park model at an rv campground association. It has travel trailers, 5th wheels, and park models with additions. The feral cat population is horrible at the place. Some of the older folks like to look out for them and place alot of food out. They have multiplied over the last 4...
