Re: Farm run about car
One of my farmers, he's mostly retired now, would always say he was a poor farmer, and couldn't afford a Gator. So he would run little cheap pickups, then when used Geo trackers and Suzukis got cheap enough he'd use them for running around the farm and checking on irrigation. Man he was hard on them...

Re: Hydraulic hookup for small backhoe
I did a search and found replacement gear pumps , searched the part number and and . I finally found a displacement of 7cc per revolution . Most little deisels in that type of machine I see looking it up are limited to 3000 rpm . So max output of the pump would be 7cc x 3000rpm less 10% when warm ....

Re: Case 448, Brantford ON, $1300
With the exchange rate if the engine and hydraulics are good this is not too bad a price when you factor in the D-10's, 3pt, and hydraulic pto. Could be a good restoration project project, especially if you could get it a little cheaper, and end up with a workhorse.

Re: Robber edge for snow blades
Has anyone tried them on snow casters ? Anyone use them on gravel ? I wounder if they would "dig in less ? Most of the rubber ones are thicker, with how the cutting edge is mounted on the caster, I think it might be hard to get it to not push snow ahead of the caster. Type of snow will play. A...

Re: Robber edge for snow blades
The rubber edges have become quite popular even on larger plows, it's surprising how well they hold up. And no gouged and scratched up concrete or blacktop.

Re: Anyone remember the good old days?
Ray if you are looking for a simple joint for the rod to the shoot screw and don't want to bend the loops or get the old style joint. You can make a simple flex joint with a piece of stiff hose. A short piece of hydraulic hose works really well, slip it over both shafts and put a hose clamp on each ...
