Re: Hurricane Fiona tree clean up started.

I have a few Boxelders like that to do. But started small with the lilacs and honeysuckles that busted off in the wet sticky snows, most of it went threw the chipper and got spread on the flower beds.

Re: the way we roll

@Gordy that had to be around a 400lb roller without fluid inside. I bet that thing did a great job. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk Close ;) So it's raining out and bored, :geek: I found some online calculators, pipe weight = 380.3 pounds (explains why I had to use the engine hoist to stand it...

Re: the way we roll

I’ve had it on my mind to build a roller like that for awhile now. Haven’t come across a tank to make one out of yet, not that it matters, I don’t think I have time to add another project into the mix at this point! Are there any Pipe line contractors in your area? I worked pipeline for a few years...

Re: Hydraulic pto question.

:hm: Somewhere on something :hm: I recall seeing the radiator overflow tank idea employed to a hydraulic tank :hm: He drilled a large hole in the cap for the hydraulic tank, soldered/welded a length of 3/4" tube to the cap that was long enough to mount a hose on the top side and extended inside...

Re: 1961 Ford F500 project.

I picked up one of those hand pumps at O'Reilly Auto Parts years ago for 5-6 bucks. Works great, and comes with a second hose for the bottom of the pump you can trim to length for the bottle you are using.

Re: Hydraulic pto question.

I agree with what TIm said  One of my 224's came with a homemade splitter. The PO had a steel rod rigged up to the PTO valve for running the splitter, It worked but slowed things down as there is no detent to automatically stop the ram on the return stroke. So I mounted a proper splitter v...
