Re: VW powered tractor

I'm still waiting for someone to post the video of a Case garden tractor with a VW engine doing a full tractor pull. I can't seem to find the tractor pull video on YouTube.

Re: 🎂 Happy Birthday

I actually got an Easter bunny themed cake for my birthday. Kids liked it and I figured it was the freshest cake. I did opt for the smaller one because it had to fit in the freezer. 20240327_214329.jpg My kids are 2 (almost 3) and 5. Kids wanted to play dressup last night. If I could only get both k...

Re: 🎂 Happy Birthday

Thanks guys. I did have a good birthday. I took the afternoon off and we went into the city to check out a popular pizza place I wanted to try since literally 2008 or so. Very good pizza. Usual gifts... picked up a local ice cream cake... also got dinner with the family. It was nice to have the afte...

Re: Snow caster skid shoes

I'm running Bercomac skid shoes on my snowcaster. You have to run 5/16" bolts instead of 3/8" or widen the mounting slots which is what I did. I had to add two 1/4" thick washers between the skid shoes and the snowcaster housing so that the skid shoes cleared my snowcasters bolt on ex...

Re: Post your winter tractor setups

@MattA I agree, most walk behinds could do with twice the HP. I don't think there has ever been an OEM walk behind with twin (Honda's got some big blowers though, so maybe). I think a twin would put the blower beyond price point. That's one of the reasons I'm impressed with the video I posted, stoc...

Re: The weather

Similar weather here. All of my shingles are still on the roof. Should be back up in the 50's here soon.

Re: Post your winter tractor setups

I've seen a few walk behind snowblowers with lawnmower 18-23hp v twins added.

Ingersoll 4016 with a 23HP vanguard swapped in. There is a build thread on the old forum in the Vanguard section.

Re: Post your winter tractor setups

I've got more CCI videos to post but tonight's video is a classic... V8 powered snowblower on skid steer tracks. His channel has a few more videos.
