Re: Pictures: this moment

This little fella just came out of the tree line to do a little hunting around the house. I like watching them point then pounce on their prey. I hope he sticks around as long as he stays away for the chicken coop!

I gave up pulling the tough one by hand, now it’s the bucket on the tractor and a chain. Thanks for the smile, a...

Looks sturdy enough - Reminds me of the old days working out of a service truck - "Repairs designed in the field, hammer to fit, grinder for finish and paint to match..."  Yup you hit the nail on the head! That’s exactly what this process was! DavidBarkey Great ide...

Re: Messing around in the shop

Holy cow fellas, i had quite a busy time in the shop this weekend, a one step forward two steps back situation. :45: Got the oil change in the mower and cut grass for the first time this year. Seems a little early but it needed it. I pulled back to the shop to find a flat tire on the side by side. I...

Re: Another thing to look at on my 648

Well after talking to a couple of friends I decided I wanted to try and repair the stabilizer cylinder rod myself. I figured the worst than that can happen is it won’t hold so why not try. I started by grinding a V into the area to be welded. IMG_4803.jpeg I didn’t get a picture but I was fairly hap...

Re: Auction 446. The work begins.

I took another look quickly this morning. I thought maybe a neutral safety switch could be the culprit, and I guess it still might be. I didn’t find anything obvious, but poking around I noticed there was a spare slot at the key and I’ll be darned its switched 12 V! That’s were I put my coil wire, a...

I love it Gerry! Reminds me of my dad. He built a fence post puller from plans he found in Popular Mechanics!
I already see a couple of things I’d like to make! :D

Re: Hey Pa, what's for supper?

Any body ever hear of Cod Dogs. ???? Fella in Newfoundland, Canada got them there some where. I’d love to try them, but the fish markets here never heard of them before. Jumpins I’d say they’d be tasty. Gerry ? Noel They look great! There’s just something about fish stuffed in sausage casing the do...
