Re: 🎂 Happy Birthday

Happy birthday @MattA even if I am a day late and a dollar short. May you have lots of cake in your lunch pail today.

Re: Case "cart"

That box of goodies caught my eye. They are the kind of things that go missing. Mule drives for that generation get lost.

@RoamingGnome I am not a member of that FB group. Curiosity is eating at me. What is the asking price of the lot?

Re: Muffler repair

Bob, Thank you for the reminder about using steal filler rod on mufflers. Dave, I may make an end plate like you suggest.

Muffler repair

20240315_150225.jpg
The muffler is off of a 448 and in excellent condition except for end plate separated on outlet side.

I see 2 approaches to repairing it. 1- gas weld using brass rod or 2- gas weld using steel filler.

Any suggestion or pointer would be appreciated.

Re: Shop tool

@RoamingGnome Gerry, I prefer Auto CAD, Using a cardboard template transferred to a piece of car door before making the final part from stronger material.

Re: Post your winter tractor setups

Unfortunately, mother winter did not provide an entertainment plan in my playbook this season.

This 446 was about all that was needed and the 646 was used once to remove ice.
