We live in a world run by idiots.
I would say, "end of rant". But it's not a rant. Merely an empirical observation!

Re: Pictures: this moment
I don't know about Canada, but around here we've had about 24.5 million new residents in the last three yrs, all needing a home. (4.5 million authorized immigrants, plus, based on 8.5 million official illegal immigrant encounters, total illegal entries are estimated between 12 million and 40 million...

Re: Forum News
Well, this morning when I woke up and checked our forum the hour glass was turning and turning and no response. Seemed to be dead. Had a look at our site provider and the virtual machine on which the forum is running was simply turned off. This is the 3rd or 4th time this happens, so i opened a sup...

A bit of loader work
I had a dead tree fall down in a storm the other night. I was very fortunate it didn't hit anything. I knew it was dead, but I didn't realize how far gone it was. image.png Nothing to do now but clean it up. I could go through and cut it into little pieces and haul it with the wheelbarrow, but where...

Maybe only marginally helpful: but I spent the time and a bit of money to set up permanently installed cross-ventilation based fume extraction for my basement workshop, and it's been very helpful. I installed an exhaust fan like this https://www.homedepot.com/pep/VEVOR-12-in-Shutter-Exhaust-Fan-High...

Re: Aux Switchboard Idea
I searched for "switches" authored by DavidBarkey and I found this:
Not the ideal picture, but it gives the gist of it.
It's a nice setup with the switches and the gauges.

Re: Zero turn paddle boat
You're right. The fabricatin' is EASY. It's the pedaling. The endless days and weeks in the hot sun PEDALING. Them things go like 3 feet for every 12 full turns of the pedals. I still have nightmares. Here's the deal: I weld. You pedal! :weld1: :weld1: :weld1:      :rof...

Re: Hydraulic hookup for small backhoe
I agree with what others have said. Your problem isn't pressure, it's flow: too much of it.
If you put in flow limiters and it didn't help, then your flow limiters are still too big. Get smaller flow limiters, and that'll tame this beast.
