Very nice looking, and congrats! You'll find this larger size and addtional features really handy, I'm sure.
I've long since moved on from my Atlas 6" lathe, but it's what got me started, and I'll always have happy memories of it.

Re: Snagged a 1977 444 Close to home
Since the last post I finished painting the rear wheels and installed them, along with the fronts back on the tractor. The steering linkages were installed again for good now. I put the dash decal on as well. Tonight I put the decals on the hood and tossed it on for a pic. Looks pretty good. Still ...

Re: Loader Build
I've almost finished part one and am enjoying it. Your attention to detail and the ability to explain it all is quite astounding. One question, What is the reason for using the bronze bushing? - are they superior in this application to other solutions? Great question! Of the available options (bare...

Re: Mower deck bracket
I don't think it's the problem you're facing, but I can heartily recommend the aramid/kevlar belts for this application. I ran one on my '73 442, same deck and configuration as yours, for 6 seasons before it wore out.

Bob from Atlanta
New to this forum, but not to Case/Ingersoll.
I started with a rock-solid 1973 442 and recently upgraded to a Y2k 4020PS that's just a dream.
Ever since I can remember, I've been constantly building/customizing/repairing things. It's how I relax.

Loader Build
If anyone cares to check it out, I'm filming a series on building and adding a loader to a Case GT. (late model 4020PS) I currently have 3 of the what will be either 5 or 6 videos completed. The next video will cover the actual steel structure, and I expect to have that work done later this week, so...
