Re: Metal Sculpture

I haven't made any in awhile, but I use to make a lot of Stainless steel flowers for gifts. Here are just a couple from my shop. I'll have to dig up some others that I have.

Re: My Massey Harris 33 with FEL

I know exactly what you mean Eugen. I have a 646 and a 644lbh. Sometimes a bigger machine is what you really need, or you'll end up breaking the one your trying to use.

Re: Metal Sculpture

Yes Toby our dog was a true companion. He would come into the shop when I was out there and keep me company. I sure miss him, but yet I don't because of all the extra work that had to be done to care for him. The chain head was cool. That is a lot of chain used to make that head. I've collected some...

Re: Cold Weather Starting??

My winter snow blowing machine is a 446 with a 48" snow caster. It also has a cab and I'm in the process of adding a chute rotator and linear actuator for the chute deflector. I keep it in my shop during the winter which is not heated, unless I start up the wood furnace. LOL. This past winter I...

Metal Sculpture

Here are three pics of our St. Bernard who passed. Where the dog was brown I covered with carbon steel so it would rust. Where the dog was white I covered it with stainless steel. It's about three feet tall and quite the conversation piece. The wasps like to build nests inside in the summer and I do...

Re: Introduction of Harry

I've always heard, "if you want to get good at anything, teach it to someone else." I welded for years taught apprentices on the job and also some part time teaching at a vocational school. All of this was done with older welding equipment. The school that I started teaching after retireme...

Re: Woke up again this morning

It currently is 68 degrees F at my location. Most of the snow is gone, only piles of dirty snow in piles from the snow plows. Suppose to rain tomorrow evening which should get rid of most of the piles.
