Anytime I've been outside running an engine no matter what it is. When I come in the house my wife says you smell like gas, go take a shower. It doesn't matter if I'm mowing grass, rototilling, weed wacking, or splitting wood, I smell like gas. I guess all of my machines are worn out and need rebui...

Last weekend took the straw, shavings, and chicken/duck manure and spread it over the garden . Disked it in 3 times over the week . Today we are planting garlic from seed we harvested . The birds go crazy when I turn the garden . Next week prepping the squash mounds for planting. Need to get more pl...

This is a prime example of why most mechanics even the healthy ones are leaving the trade . I would never go back even if my back was fixed and they double the pay. I am enjoying the freedom of working our little farm and doing some small engine work to keep the bills paid .

Thanks guys , it has been a glorious day out . Got up to 16 C and full sun . Enjoyed the day and after supper (Chilly and toast ) it will be bears and Nascar .

I really like your hiller Dave! How wide do the hills end up being? I have plans to build something like that, got two large discs from a guy near Brantford. I'm thinking 4 feet between hills. It makes them about 18" wide at the base and 6-8" tall . I try to keep them about 24" betwe...
