Re: Aux Switchboard Idea

I searched for "switches" authored by DavidBarkey and I found this:

Not the ideal picture, but it gives the gist of it.

It's a nice setup with the switches and the gauges.

Re: Zero turn paddle boat

You're right. The fabricatin' is EASY. It's the pedaling. The endless days and weeks in the hot sun PEDALING. Them things go like 3 feet for every 12 full turns of the pedals. I still have nightmares. Here's the deal: I weld. You pedal! :weld1: :weld1: :weld1:      :rof...

Welcome, Ryan! 'Sounds like you'll fit right in here with the rest of us.

It's hard to say if that's a compliment or not!

Re: Hydraulic hookup for small backhoe

I agree with what others have said. Your problem isn't pressure, it's flow: too much of it.

If you put in flow limiters and it didn't help, then your flow limiters are still too big. Get smaller flow limiters, and that'll tame this beast.

Re: Cutting clear acrylic (plexiglass) sheets

wow. All I"ve ever used is a table saw. (But I wear a face shield. Cutting either plexiglass or aluminum, the table saw really likes to shoot shrapnel at your face.)

But I'll have to try one of those and see how it goes.

Re: Case tractor question.

Being relatively a newbie, I have not "knowledge" to offer, just an observation: Deere's product line has HUGE variations from its early 8 or 10hp basic machines, up into its heyday with the full-featured 318, and then into its dramatic decline, where most people now thinking of Deere as b...

Re: How many years you got with Case tractors?!

2008 I was looking on Craigslist for a Cub cadet. I wanted a vintage American iron garden tractor. I came across a case 1972 442 with deck and blade for 475. Never heard of them but it was clearly American iron. And a great price. I drove an hour away at 9 pm to be the first one there. What a blessi...

Re: On the funny side of the street

Took thse pics by work today. Something doesn't seem right... This is new construction. The old family run restaurant here closed in covid. The restaurant and garage were demolished with an excavator. Where the restaurant and parking lot stood, 6 of these houses are being built. 20240115_123749.jpg...

Welcome, Noah! Best of luck finding what you're after.
