I agree Dave. It was a bit of an eye opener for me that the 5000W generator was struggling a bit with an electric heater of only 1200W and the sump pump on one outlet both. The diesel heater put more heat (5000W) with less effort and more efficiency. Live and learn they say.

Yesterday we woke up with that snow that Dave showed, and no power; sometime during the night a large transformer apparently went bust with flames and sparks and such :!: .
