Re: Didn't get ready for winter.

My caster is still out in the woods, and my loader is still torn all apart since last winter. I have had some challenges this last year. Compounded challenges would be a more proper name for it. I am not sure if the 4020 would make it out to where the caster is. I have never tried something like ...

Re: Snow caster chute rotator

That is the same motor I use for both of my rotation and chute angle. I wrap my motors with Gorilla Tape. I also do not leave them on while they are not in use. I did that with my first set, and the motor died. They have lasted years now, being wrapped and stored inside.

Re: Snow caster throwing distance

I have a RPM guage coming for it . When I first built it and tested it. It was running 3100 rpm full throutle and I upped from 16 to 18 teeth on the drive sprocket . I have now audible rpm loss under load . There are visuable no signs of slippage on the belt , but have no way at this moment to ...

Re: Non maring tire chains for paved driveways

I have seen ones that were just strips of beefed-up rubber that may work. But you are missing some things. You need as much weight as you can get; the owner's manual says 500 lbs is the minimum for the loader. Your tractor has the exact same drive system. The second thing you need is brand new tires ...

Re: Best mod you have done

Mine should be obvious; I had to lie on my back for hours to get a full understanding of what was going on. Then, once I knew what was going on, it took me many hours to find an outlet that has a bulk discount to the general public. After I found that I had to learn what all the letters meant on ...

Re: TCV control linkage replacement

I am the guy who redesigned the original linkage to one that will last at least one lifetime. It took me a long time to find parts that were discounted when purchased in bulk. Yes, I sell enough of them; I buy the parts in a bag of 100. Then, I had to use what they had in terms of parts and figure ...

Re: leaking

When the drive motor shaft leaks, it fills the transaxle with oil. I did not enjoy that fix. I cannot remember why, though. It was probably because I had just changed to oil, I think.

Re: TCV relief setting

I have a 648 that is after the original settings, and I suspect the pumps used. The visual tells are in the parts manual. I have a full hex nut on the cover for adjusting the TCV pressure.

I have mine all torn apart and have not been doing so well, and it has been sitting. I did buy an extra-long ...

Re: A scam?

Selling anything that is listed on eBay for cash only in person is clearly against eBay policies. It circumvents the way eBay makes its money.

People are not all that smart when using any platforms. Some people put things in their cart so that they can save the listing. You can actually just save ...
