Re: Motor heads
We buried my best friend in 1986. He had the speed thing bad. Cars, bikes, quads, he had it all. He died in a single-vehicle crash, due to excessive speed. It was a Fastback Mustang with the final touch of his modifications done the day before, new tires. I thought it was dream talk but I later lear...

Re: TCV adjustment
Stop! Well, on edit, I only read the first page and missed the other 2 when I replied. Adjust accordingly. Do not do any of the things mentioned. Please. You are entering a new area of knowledge. There is a Case service manual for the hydraulic system. If it is not in the files section and you canno...

Re: Combine wheel weights
Hey, it is a lot more weight than the D10 at 37.5 lbs. And they sell pretty easily at $100 each. But, filling your tires should first. Rim Guard when you can and whatever if you cannot. For me, Rim Guard is $4.40 a gallon, installed. 8.00-16 tires hold just under 12 gallons. That is $52.80 plus new ...

Re: Lets talk snowcaster inprovements
Would be nice if the tractor hood didn't hit the chute. I believe this is the case in my Berco but not my Snowcaster. Chute wise, people have adapted tapered chutes to the snowcaster with good results. I can post a video another time. Hi #Matta, Don''t think there is any way, at least not one that ...

https://photos.app.goo.gl/esKdXozj38DW1P5b6 Surplus Center sells seat motors that are the perfect speed. But, they are not outdoor use motors. They are only $15 and replacing one every few years is not that big of a deal. For the crank, I grind the threaded shaft down to fit into a 3/8" tube w...

Re: Fuel Gauge - 4000 series
I did an old-school one once. It was a simple sight glass that was clear tubing. I replaced the 90 in the bottom of the tank and installed a tee. The one outlet went back to the fuel line for the engine. The other I connected the clear hose. The rear seat support needed some holes drilled in it and ...

Re: Onan 16HP engine
Targeting the oil leak is not the route needed. You most likely have gaskets that are all rock-hard from age and heat. The heat that destroys the gaskets comes from running lean. The carb needs cleaning, the 2 piece manifold is probably leaking. I have my tips and videos on my pages on Facebook and ...

We have doors on the greenhouse , I mean cab . They pop off in seconds for summer use . i have to make a rack to hang them on when not in use . Anyone thinking of having pop off doors , always make your bottom hinge pin 1" long and top 1/2" long . That way you are not trying to lin...
