Re: Green Case Loader
I was trying to get my grass cut, but we keep getting pop up showers. Yesterday was the same so I parked my grass cutting LT and crawled under the mostly black GT and removed the TCV. David like you said by removing the nuts from under the floor it came off with no problem. I also removed the gas ta...

Re: Chewing belts.
Noel, on the 446 snow machine I did eliminate the manual clutch and installed an electric clutch. It was an early clutch that had to be shimmed to adjust. The clutch was off a JD tractor that I purchased off of CL. I have had no problems with it since I installed. :peace: Harry That’s great Harry. ...

Re: Trailer spray rig
Looks handy. Depending on what you're spraying, aluminum might not be the best choice of tank material. Probably fine for most things, but worth thinking about, and keeping it cleaned out between uses. Some of the toxins sure eat up brass fittings on my pump sprayers. 30 gallons is right around 250...

Switch on end of spring clip to turn on and off. Trichlorpyr for weed control. Creeping Charlie is hard to eliminate so I’m hoping this works.

Re: garden tiller service
David I remember back when I was starting to garden my Dad gave me an old front tine tiller. The engine needed some tlc and tines were very worn. I had no extra money to purchase new tines. I ended up welding some metal unto the ends of the tines. It worked fine for years until I gave the tiller to ...

Re: Trailer spray rig
Not sure about the hitch, but most of the weight when full seems to be on the axle. Sprayed some herbicide to knock out some weeds in my yard. Seems to spray very well with about a six foot span.

Re: Laid up
Since I worked in industry my whole life I’ve met a lot of people who have back problems, even my wife has back problems. My Dad had back problems and always preached to his sons about lifting with their legs. So I have always tried to be careful when lifting. I have noticed if I overdue any lifting...

Re: Laid up
ssmewing, thanks for the suggestions of what to do when you can’t. I’ll have to remember “the rabbit hole idea.” I’m having a procedure in late August and limited activity for three to four weeks after. I know I’ll be itching to get some seat time in.
