Re: belt length dilemma
propane1 Noel, You are correct about the angle of the idler mounts being at a different angle. That is a difference in the 2 mules. The photo that Timj posted looks like the same version of build that may last 2 pictures show. As Bob said the mules should be interchangeable, but will have a slightl...

Re: belt length dilemma
This is the deck I have been running with the A74 belt and it should probably be an A73. This picture is with the C23359 belt installed. Notice how it rubs on the mule brace. 20240511_112351.jpg This morning I changed the deck but not the mule. This is with the C23359 installed and it is only slight...

Re: Hydraulic post hole auger
This looks like a plan that will relieve a lot of headaches. No more second engine to start and fuss with. When the auger hangs up on a rock or root, just a quick reverse of the hydraulic lever and your freed to go.

Re: Social Media Problems
This morning a notice of a bill coming due in 5 days was in my email. The site logo looked legit and there was a "Pay" button. I do not use services of that company. It was a hissing scam.

Re: 444 deal or no deal
This is an early tractor with a manual deck lift and will not have an easy clutch. The only big catch in the box might be the muffler if it isn't rusted out.

Eugen Those look like "cold" casting marks where the molten metal enters a mould from multiple headers and vents. In most cases they do not effect the integrity of the part. Experience has taught me that when cold joints are failures it will be in multiple castings. Setting up a bench tes...
