I was surprised at how the deflector control is designed. A linear actuator would have been closer to what I pictured or something similar to a power seat drive.

The only snow left here are they drifts caught by the roadway snow fences. We've had about 4 days above freezing and waves of rainfall. Temptation has been to pull the blower off my tractor, but common sense says we're not out of the woods yet.
