JSinMo, 200 amp is what I have for my house with a 60 amp breaker to run my shop. I have no problem in the shop because I’m the only person using it. I think the governor plate is stuck out . Try wiggling the governor arm back and forth at an idle and see if you can get it moving again . You should be able at an idle to move the G arm to raise the rpm but feel it push back against you . Hope that helps.

Dave it looks like the belt drive Berco that Timj posted may have a shear pin on the large input pulley. The Berco manual does have a warning about some sort of misalignment causing repeated shear upon failures. I'd have to look in the manual for more info. Yes they have a 1/4" grade 2 bolt on...

Harry, An option to consider would be to just replace the auger sprocket as in the long run it would likely be more cost and time effective than locating a used auger with a good sprocket. If the rest of the R84 is in good shape, that's what I would do. I do always keep them in stock......... https...
