My guess would be around $2500 Cdn It will be interesting to see what route they choose and how much fuel prices vary - We've driven Ontario to BC and back a few times when I was working out west for a few years, (always in little SUV's though... :) ) Going an all Canadian route from Kelowna to PEI ...
