Re: On the funny side of the street
That book would be an interesting read , But at $141. plus tax it is to rich for my blood . I will keep faking it until I make it. Exactly what I thought. I do have a couple of metal working shop books but it seemed to me I can fake much of it and when in doubt I come here and ask from others who e...

Re: Another thing to look at on my 648
Well the USPS finally got around to delivering the seals for the power steering so I went about putting them in this morning. As I mentioned before I’ve been working with CaseIngersollNE to figure out what the correct ones are. They look like a good fit to me! IMG_4750.jpeg I have no idea how many o...

@DavidBarkey I don’t have any experience with Ford GT’s but the loader looks to be well built. Hopefully the list of repairs are all easy!
I know a few of you guys have really nice lifts. The older I get and the more my knees hurt from kneeling on concrete the more jealous I get!

Ingersoll224 That’s a great hoist setup! Great use of space! That car is awesome! More pictures please! I currently have a 2011 but I’d trade in a heartbeat! :)) IMG_3925.jpeg RoamingGnome that garage plan really looks nice. That will be a great space to work in instead of always being i...

Re: Wicked late winter / early spring weather
We’re in the same boat down here. We’re dry but we’re back below freezing. Temperatures are going to be up and down all week :109: :33: I’m convinced that tree got struck by lightning. I saw an orange fire ball and heard the thunder crack at the same time during the storm. I cleaned up around it yes...

Re: 222 Receiver hitch mounted crane
Nicely done Gerry! It looks like it’s going to work well.
My first thought was the same as Mr. Dave. I think I would want the outriggers set to outside of the tires. The stabilizers on my 648 are inline with the rear tires and it’s gets a little tippy. I’d much rather have them wider.

Looks like it works great! I’d much rather do that than lift stuff by hand!
