Re: Stearing axle pin

Another thing the PO did was manage to get the grease nipple moved so that it could not be accessed from the front nor anywhere else that I could see. I certainly did not have a gun that would fit the "new position" . As these are a press fit I very gingerly re positioned so that it could ...

The second pic has our latest updated pin with grease channels. https://www.caseingersolltractors.com/product-page/axle-pin-upgrade-kit-for-case-ingersoll-tractors Nice pin - always wondered about why groves were not a part of the original design. Grease is really only as good as being able to reta...

Re: Ever felt that people that part out GT's have no clue!

Keith, I have/had 4 so far... can you tell I like Case/Ingersoll? I have a green machine too that I would love to get rid of. I am an avid collector - it's my hobby and I am retired too so get a lot of time on the internet. I hate the cold also and forget summers with the heat and humidity (I was bo...

Ever felt that people that part out GT's have no clue!

Just won a couple of posts on Ebay.. The first was labeled "Hydraulic motor" and the second "Hydraulic control valve and tubes". Well the motor showed a pic of a motor and "holding Valve" and connections""" The second completed the holding valve tubes, in...

Re: headlights wiring

Keith, just to clarify. The wiring should be down low and run either above or below the frame rail. I use a couple of ties to hold it there. When you reach the front is where it gets a little difficult... remember you need to be able to remove the hood sometimes for even basic service so for me I ke...

Re: Stearing axle pin

So my first steering axle pin came from #Teapotlinda on Ebay and was totally stainless! A really great kit and seller that was part of the Case/Ingersoll community. Unfortunately he has retired and no longer making/selling. Even though I know that keeping the pins greased stops any rust I still pref...

Re: EZ clutches

So yesterday we had a 57 degree day!!! and I managed to get outside and really start work on the PTO. Got a few pics too and found a neat trick when assembling that helped me a lot! Still not completely satisfied though I can/do get the 3 clicks that everyone talks about it just seems a little "...
