Re: Case 646 Poor Condition, Whats it Worth
I can't give very accurate information on the spot, but I can tell you the the K321 and K341 blocks are entirely different, the K341 has a much higher crankshaft height for example. Not sure how it compares to the CCKA. Nothing is impossible, given enough time and effort. I would suggest that the ...

Re: Case 646 Poor Condition, Whats it Worth
The Case 644 used a 14hp Kohler K321 single cylinder engine.
I have 2 Kohler 16hp k341's which have the same size block.
How much would have to change to install one of my k341's

Re: Case 646 Poor Condition, Whats it Worth
Thanks for the comments. I'm going to go see it and only have a reduced amount of cash on me so I won't be temped to bring it home at full price.

While hydraulic systems don't have metal to metal components rubbing against each other constantly, they have very close fitting components. The gears in hydraulic pumps "can have metal to metal contact and that's what your oil is there to prevent.

Case 130 Parts Gathering and future Restoration
Well I'm slowly collecting parts to restore my Case 130. I had pressure washed it as high pressure as I could trying to remove the JD green paint, but too much remains to keep it in its work clothes. It will be a frame off restoration, but I'm not going to tear it down for a while yet. I have 2 ...

Hello from Central Texas.
A few years ago I was on the other CCI Forum and recently learned of the changes.
All colors of GT's (except Sears) are somewhat sparse around here. I've just about traveled to all corners of Texas to fill my barn. Their an addiction! I lean towards the Red Wheelhorses and sure like my 2 Cases, but ...
