Yup, they are the JD H78062 combine weights @ 52 pounds per half = 104 pounds per wheel.

Matt, here is another option. I have put a linear actuator on my Brinly Spreader model BS36BH 175 lb. It saves me from turning around and reaching, but a downside is that the actuator is slower than working the Open/Close lever by hand, but I've gotten used to it. I can still use the original ...

Ray, if you are looking for drift cutters like in my photo, I got these Ariens Drift Cutters from Amazon several years ago. They had several models depending on what length and hole spacing you may need.

Matt, I did the same thing the same way (cardboard template) you did a few years ago, only I added 2 extra teeth on each side. I really like the extra rearward discharge, especially when I get to the end of the driveway.
