They've been around for a long time, Italian manufacture if I remember correctly. I think that they were owned by and parts available from Briggs and Stratton.

[attachment=0]image.png[/attachmentFor sale Lombardini 2 cyl air cooled diesel engine , rated at 26 hp @ 3000 rpm . Originally off of an air seeder , great replacement engine for a smaller skid steer or other application . very good condition , can be heard running . Located in Water Valley ,Alberta (45 minutes NW of Calgary )
$1000 or best offer , cash only
Now it is too far away and more $$ than I have to spend , but the simplicity of a air cool diesel twin with way of pto off each end intrigued me .

Very neat engine, imagine the torque on that!!! Kohler bought Lombardini in 2007.

Yes, I agree with you guys. That would be a perfect engine that would produce tons of torque. To bad it’s so far away. :peace: Harry

Thats a big number for a 2 cylinder . Onan P220 is about 32 flbs. An engine like that you could runn a big dispacement pump at lower rpm .

I found that they are any where from 43 ftlb to 54 ftlb on those 3 engines.
