Eugen suggested that I post my newest (to me) tractor. It’s a Hough (rhymes with rough); H-30.
Hough made front wheel drive loaders. They added down pressure to the boom, but that cause loss of traction. So, Hough made a FWD version. This was the birth of the rubber tires loader. The early ones (like mine) were rear steer. Hough then moved to articulating steer. This design proved best, and has has been copied by every other heavy equipment builder since.
Hough developed a close relationship with IH. I think, IH eventually took over all production. Later IH merged with CASE, so the Hough H-30 is actually a CASE!
