No, It steers really easy even with the deck on , so no need for it on this one .

1968 , almost as old as I am . When it is done it will be in better shape than I am . I am so jelious , wish I could get a rebuild like it is getting .

Dave, she's a sturdy looking machine, from what little bit of research I did on the web the are very capable. When you first got it running what was your impression as to the mechanical condition and driveability?
