Muffler is made from .050" 1/4 hard 347 stainless. Cut with waterjet. Should outlast the tractor, but with Case, who knows? I made it in a hurry, and could have done better, but I am about ready to start this thing before install, and that old muffler was probably going to just spew rust and squirrel bits everywhere if I put it on there. So hopefully I'll get it running this weekend, then start the install if all goes well. I have the points adjusted, valves too, just a few small things, and put the oil in, fuel line on, and let her rip! -----Metalguy

@metalguy it looks great! You said you could have done better if you weren’t in a hurry. If I tried to make a muffler and taken my time it would end up looking like your old one! :D

Very nicely done!

Great fabrication Metalguy. I’m not familiar with 347 SS, but figured it can be hardened. Is it magnetic? If so it has some iron in it. I’m curious what colors it changes to when it gets hot. :51: :peace: Harry
