After sharing that I still can't paint for a toss! My GT will be painted by a professional! ! understand the principles but not the application

I hear you. Most of the time I can do a fairly decent 15 foot paint job, it looks pretty good from 15 feet away!

It’s been awhile since I painted anything that I wanted it to have a nice gloss. When in the past I painted, I always seemed to think of it like welding. In welding you look at the molten puddle and slowly move the electrode keeping the molten puddle the same size and shape. In painting you watch the paint spraying out the gun and keep the gun moving the same distance away from the work, so the gloss keeps flowing. I’ve painted a few cars and motorcycles but it’s been awhile. Harry

I never did understand my principals , they always were giving me detentions for stuff I thought was funny .
