Winter cab ventilation

Post by DavidBarkey »

Everyone here knows by now about the dangers of CO in the cabs . Well them is another enemy looking interfere with your peaceful snow blowing time . Your breath. Even the nicest of breath carries a lot of water that likes to condensate on your windows . Meet my new fan club . The fan is just in front of my face on the roof skin .

Right above that fan is a "mushroom" vent cap with my beacon light on top .

Turn the fan on and it sucks out the moist air and any CO there might be . Fresh air comes from low and out back .

Thanks for that tip! Practical and somewhat easy compared to some of the other ideas I have seen over the years.

Thank you!

Nice work Dave. My modern CB34 cab has some sizable gaps designed into the footwell area. I like how you put the vents down low out back.
