Snow removal yesterday. 1970 John Deere 140H3 and snowthrower. Wet heavy snow. Was pushing it instead of throwing it at times. Nasty stuff. That’s one disadvantage from a thrower to a blower. Throwers won’t take in the wet heavy snow, so they push it. The blowers auger have an easier time chewing into the wet heavy snow so they don’t push it nearly as bad as a thrower. Just my thought. What is yours ?
Sorry about the non Case tractor, but my Case 446 is not working. And the other Case 224 is going into storage, sadly.

Nice pictures.
I had one of those snow storms here a few years back. My 4016 struggled to push my snowcaster into the snow bank at the bottom of my driveway. I had to push the travel lever forward quite a bit and then the tractor would jump into the snow bank and bog down. My Berco's auger has teeth in it and it chews through snow banks good.

Is the Berco a blower or a thrower Matt. ?MattA wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:36 am Nice pictures.

Looks like a mean snow throwing machine. Can’t beat a two stage. Harry

Re: Snow, $&$(/$&@?!
You guys can keep all the snow at least until Christmas. No snow here in the forecast for a couple of weeks. That should give me time to get the snow machine back on line. Harry
